At Latitude 53, volunteers are very important. As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors and Committees, fundraise, install exhibits, and much more! Volunteering for Latitude 53 can help you develop new skills, meet new people, and get connected with Edmonton’s vibrant arts community.

If you are interested in any of the following volunteer positions, contact Administrative Coordinator at admin@latitude53.org or call the gallery at 780.423.5353.

Special Events Committee

The Special Events Committee plans and organizes Latitude 53's beloved fundraising events and celebrations, like The Fine Art of Schmoozy. SEC members gain valuable experience in event planning, the negotiation of sponsorship arrangements, and the supervision of volunteers.

Who: Volunteers who are interested in helping to make our fundraisers successful, enjoy working on a team, have excellent follow-through, and want to have fun working behind the scenes with other fun volunteers.

Why: We raise nearly half of our donations through fundraisers and special events. This is a large portion of Latitude 53’s operating budget, and we strive to improve, grow, and raise more so that we can do more!
