About Schmoozy 2023
Schmoozy is Latitude 53’s signature annual fundraising event that celebrates artists and the community that supports them. 50% of the proceeds of the works sold go back to the participating artists, and the rest goes towards Latitude 53’s operations and programming year-round.
2023 has been a year of big changes and ups and downs, including a move, a leadership change, and endless conversations about building permits. Latitude 53 is excited to close out the year with two weeks of Schmoozy to properly celebrate our 50th anniversary!
Please join us for a one-night-only celebration on Friday, December 1 at dc3 Art Projects to view the artwork for sale, and also to hang out and schmooze—we've missed you!
Schmoozy.ca will be open for shopping from Dec 1–16 online. Stay tuned for workshop announcements and profiles of each of the featured artists.
All of the money raised by Latitude 53 goes towards supporting our programming, as we work with artists to create exhibitions and events that are free for the community.
