With CARFAC Alberta’s Chris W. Carson, Executive Director, Tara Vahab, Engagement Coordinator, and Latitude 53’s Emerging Curator Liuba González de Armas
Founded in 1968, CARFAC (Canadian Artists' Representation/Le Front des artistes canadiens) is a non-profit organization serving as Canada's national voice for professional visual artists. CARFAC defends artists’ economic and legal rights and educates the public on fair dealing with artists. CARFAC Alberta, the provincial affiliate, provides tools and resources for artists, including best practice guides, access to health care and insurance plans, and regular networking and professional development events.
Join CARFAC Alberta’s Executive Director Chris W. Carson and Engagement Coordinator Tara Vahab in a discussion of CARFAC’s work and the state of arts advocacy in Alberta. "How do we create a healthy art ecology?" is hosted by Latitude 53 Emerging Curator Liuba González de Armas. Working together we can create a healthy art ecology where artists can thrive!
