Ashna Jacob (she/her) is a visual artist, designer, and printmaker from India and is currently based in amiskwaciwâskahikan, or so-called Edmonton on Treaty 6 Territory. She works primarily in printmaking and often uses video, installation, and performance elements in her practice. She uses found imagery, print ephemera, and objects to explore themes of personal and social relationships, as well as social issues such as consumerism, privilege, and identity politics.
