Acrobat​ began as an exercise in minimalism and restraint. I incorporated colour based on cues given by the wet ink on paper.

Emily Storvold is an Edmonton born multidisciplinary artist and writer whose work deals with anxiety, biology, and outer space. She received a BA in English from MacEwan in 2016 and recently graduated from MacEwan’s Fine Art Diploma program. Storvold is interested in how humans relate to the world. She aims to make art that not only reveals connections and disconnections that we encounter, but reimagines those paths we travel in an abstract language.
