Essex II is a continuation of Molina's obsession with optical illusions and apophenia. The image was created while the artist was living in the parish of Ardleigh in Essex, isolated from most friends and family. The decontextualized natural imagery allows the mind to project meaning into the meaningless, with nature serving as the backdrop for whatever the mind of the viewer can conjure. This piece was shown at Molina's solo show 'Alt+Tabs  ↹ ' at Parallel Space in the winter of 2018. The piece is the second unique print in a series of works with accompanying .GIF loops created exclusively for Latitude 53 and its Schmoozy auction.
