Top Ten Women in Gaming​ is a screen printed accordion fold zine portraying feminine-presenting characters collected from various board games. The mock list is a parody of Top Ten lists commonly found in magazines that rank professionals and celebrities according to merit and popularity. The list pokes fun at the denial of recognition that plague women in the professional world while highlighting the perception of women as muses and characters rather than creators.

Ashna Jacob is a designer and visual artist based in Edmonton. A Bachelor of Design graduate from University of Alberta, she primarily focuses on printmaking with a touch of intermedia and performance. Her practice broadly deals with human relationships and identity politics, with performances focusing on dependency, trust, and kindness. She recently completed the Garage Space Residency at Latitude 53, exploring the potential of board games as a means of artistic research, focusing on themes of collaboration and competition.
